Our Group Corporate Compliance function carefully oversees the framework for key areas including the Aenova Code of Conduct, anti-corruption and anti-bribery efforts, anti-money laundering and fraud prevention, adherence to antitrust laws, sanctions violations, effective management of third-party relationships and conflicts of interest, the whistleblowing system as well as data privacy. We proactively shape the implementation of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG) and the anticipated Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Data Privacy: Data privacy is a central aspect of our corporate compliance strategy, ensuring that all personal and company information is handled with the utmost security and confidentiality.

Speak Up Culture: We encourage an open atmosphere where concerns about misconduct can be raised without fear. Through our 'Speak Up’ / Whistleblowing procedure, we empower our employees and external stakeholders to report potential violations compliance misconduct as well as alleged human rights and environmental violations confidently without fear of retaliation. This includes misconduct related to corruption, fraud, labor and human rights issues, environmental damage, or other violations of our Code of Conduct as well as the Supplier Code of Conduct. Our whistleblower portal (the "Aenova Integrity Line") also supports reporting violations related to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), including human rights and environmental risks in Aenova's own business operations and supply chains. The 'Integrity Line' portal of our external provider EQS ensures confidentiality and protection for whistleblowers and strengthens our commitment to transparency and ethical behavior. Through this internet-based communication platform, our compliance team can be contacted in various languages.
